ABOUT ATeE

The Cross-Border Association Equilibrium Environment (A.T.E.E) - is a Romanian legal entity of private right, non-governmental and non-profit of the units with environmental protection aim, technological transfer and innovation.

The aim, activities and objectives of the association consist in:

• Promoting and protecting the business enviromnent of those entities which perform in the environmental protection domain, technology transfer, innovative business in Romania and Bulgaria, of promoting the members' professional and commercial interests and fortifying their professional authority and social prestige in the context of sustainable regional development.
• Promotes and protects its members' professional, scientific and commercial interests
• Organises and promotes the environment - of the professional, scientific and commercial contacts in the domain, within the context of sustainable regional development by means of projects, innovation and technological transfer.
• Elaborates and promotes legislative initiatives in favour of its members and facilitates their access to governmental and non-governmental bodies.
• Cooperates with the local and regional public authorities for developing public and private partnerships in the environmental protection domain. -Offers assistance and promotes individual, joint or third parties projects.
• Guarantees the competition of the industry by:
  • Permanently informing and making economic agents aware upon the environmental issues, in the cross-border region; 2)Promoting the ethical behaviour among its members 3)Promoting the quality of its members' activity
  • Evaluating the environmental impact and initiating projects for solving it at the cross-border level in the area of Dolj-Vidin;
  • Cooperating with the local and regional public authorities for developing public and private partnerships in the environmental protection domain. 6)stimulating the research and technology transfer, developing innovative solutions for the environmental protection addressed to the industry, by cooperating and networking with research institutes, technological transfer centres and universities;
  • Promoting the concept of sustainable development in and by its members' activity
  • Stimulating and promoting innovative activities, protecting the intellectual and technical creation
  • Stimulating the participation to national and international exhibitions, fairs, conferences and seminars in the environmental protection domain, as well as the economical agents' technological transfer in the cross-border area.
  • Guarantees a competitive informational flow and a non-discriminatory dissemination of the information to its members
  • Performs activities for promoting the projects, technological transfer, research-development and studies and elaborates strategies, creates databases, systématises the information and ensures the members' broad and non-discriminatory access to them.
  • Promotes and participates in implementing the society of information and knowledge in Romania and Bulgaria.
  • Stimulates the research and technology transfer, developing innovative solutions for the environmental protection addressed to the industry, by cooperating and networking with research institutes, technological transfer centres and universities;
  • Organises and performs national and international exhibitions, fairs, conferences and seminars in the environmental protection domain, as well as the economical agents' technological transfer in the cross-border area.

• The Association demonstrates its representative and consultative feature, in that:
  • It represents and sustains its members' professional, commercial and group interests before the governmental bodies, other organisations and institutions within the country and abroad;
  • It establishes projects and studies, it supplies special information and guidance for its members as well as for third parties;
  • It suggests to the competent bodies the promotion of certain normative acts in the interest of its members
  • It initiates professional meetings and contacts.
